-I’ve never been so happy spending money. I literally opened the box thinking there would only be one big photoalbum…I was so wrong. There were THREE!! I had a momentary cardiac arrest for about 3 seconds. And then I started to breathe again. I shall scan the pictures just as soon as I get my computer fixed. I actually really need it because people are starting to approach me asking if I could make banners/posters and stuff for them. They actually want to pay me for it. Isn’t that nice? I don’t know how much people usually charge for making posters and stuff, but I usually do them for free. I’m not boasting or anything, but I think I’m pretty good in terms of graphics and making stuff look appealing.
Anyways I’ve got three photobooks to oggle so I’m very happy with my life right now. But tomorrow is a new day. What will it be for me tomorrow???
This is totally unrelated to any asian pop stuff I’ve been talking about since I started bloggin on WordPress. I just really had to get this out of my mind because it’s been eating me up inside.
I just recently turned 20 last year. Right now I’m feeling the burden of adulthood even though I’m still at that age where I CAN still have fun. Yet, all I seem to do is work and school (same routine that happens each and everday). Already I’m tired of it. I can’t imagine how it is for those who have family. I really can’t handle the thought. I’m enjoying my youth and I really wish that I could freeze time right at this moment. The thing I dread the most about adulthood is the fact that everytime you do something great, another problem arises. A problem that, at first would make you tremble with fear, sweat in agitation and scream in frustration and yet somehow you always come out of it one way or another… and then another problem comes. Its the same old routine that goes on until you finaly reached your limit; you get old, you get sick, or you get into an accident.
The thing is, you really can never get out of any problems unless you face them head on. My life now as I can see it a vast horizon with great opportunities. The problem is, I just don’t know what to do with it. I’m a clueless monkey. I’ve been thrown the ocean to be fed by the sharks. I’ve got nobody to help but myself. The reason I’m talking like this is
A. I’m living a mediocre life
B. The way I see it “I live to work” and not “I work to Live”
C. My dreams are so far out of reach that I cannot seem to get a grip of it.
D. My relationship with my parents is just terrible
E. The thing that I look forward to the most, at the end of each day is my Asian dramas, music, games…
I really want to stay young forever, but of course just as everything else in the world…it can’t be helped. As a person of my character, I don’t usually take initiative in such things such as being proactive. But I wish I could.
I hope that this year will have a lot of great things in store for me. There are times when I look at the Dark side of the bright side. As the song of Paramore goes “I’m pretty Optimistic for a pessimist” (or the other way around). I graduate in August which means I will have to start my adulthood then. I wish to travel before I jump start this “life”. I don’t want to end up with a mediocre job. I want to be someone great. I want people to appreciate my existence because as human we all seek that recognition. I truly believe that hard work is the key to everything. It is mind over matter and that’s what I’m going to try to achieve this year.
Adulthood looks really scary from where I am now. There’s so many things that I want to do before I’m faced with life paying for bills, raising children, and going to parent teacher conferences. I wish to have a fulfilled life before I get settled. I know this sounds so ludicrous because I just turned 20 but I can’t help but think it because it is inevitable. It’s going ot come. I might as well worry about it now rather that worry about it later on…when I’m 30 and having high blood pressures. ugh.
I close this blog with a goodbye. I wish everyone a good life and hopefully life as an adult is not the way as I fear it would be. Although from what I see from the people around me….I kind of get the feeling that I’m not gonna escape it.
WOW. I had just heard of FT island a few days ago and I really think that those boys are so adorably good looking. And extremely talented too. I heard the song Sarangalhee and I tell you, its a really good rock-ballad. At first, when I heard of the band’s name, the first thing that came to mind was ‘Young Adults’ and I though they were a boy band similar to Super Junior. Well, in some way they are like a boy band, but the difference is that they ARE actually a band with all the intsruments and stuff. ~Did I say they’re all ridiculously adorable?~
On another note I would like to review a song by Yuna Ito ft. Micro of Def Tech. This song is truly amazing. It’s got this Hawaiian/Western vibe to it and add to the mix Japanese words. Never heard anything like it. It’s one of those songs that just makes you all warm and happy inside.
–Just a side note, I was watching a whole bunch of videos on Youtube OF SuJu’s Sungmin and OMG He is so adorable. How this story relates to my topic…I was listening to Mahaloha and the first thing that came to my mind was an image of Sungmin in this video.
Watch and be amazed at his facial experessions. Don’t you just want to kiss him all over??

Now back to Yuna Ito, I’ve been listening to “Mahaloha” alot because I really really loved the two part harmony in this song. Micro’s voice just added to the charm of this song, along with the lyrics and the guitar I reckon you would love it too.
I love how Micro’s voice just complements Yuna Ito’s because you can clearly hear the contrast in between the two. Putting them together was a brilliant idea I say. I’m not a big fan of Def Tech but I do like Micro due to the roughness of his voice. I’d love to hear him sing an English song.
I give this song a 5 stars out of 5 because it just gives you this wonderful feeling, as if you can just feel the sun on your skin.

This is an acapella performed by Yamashita Tomohisa and Nishikido Ryo. It sounds soo good and I really want to try singing it if only I had a few more people for an acapella as backup singers (haha). But in the meantime, listen to the track because it really is good.
This was a blog that I posted on facebook. I wanted to post this because I think its so random that you too would think about it and ponder and wonder. It’s pretty much a short-term paranoia I had a while back. Seems pretty pointless now, but I’d like peoples thought on it. Because I’m simply not educated on this topic well enough. OH and yes, I do eat chicken now.

I had a sudden epiphany…
I came home from work thinking there will be food waiting for me. As always, my grandma would have something prepared…of course I’d have to help myself because …. who would really.
My Grandma made Tinola (chicken soup with papaya) and Arozcaldo (Lugaw) or rice pudding (ish). So there I was eating with my aunt and I noticed that the color of the chicken was red(ish), I asked my aunt (and inang) what that meant and they said “…if its red, it means the chicken is not fresh.”
That’s disgusting right??? That chicken was from Oceans (the new store on 410 and hwy 7) not the ocean…silly.
So I’m gonna ask you a question. Have you ever thought about how much poultry we consume?? Or how many pigs we slaughter for bacon?? Or how about beef for steaks? Actually I assume that each family would consume about 2 chickens a day (per household) ON AVERAGE, multiply that to the population of the world…HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU PRODUCE SUCH AMOUNT OF CHICKEN IN A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am amazed that people don’t actually think about this…I feel kind of sick…hahha…So I’m going to turn to fruits and vegetables and fishes as my main diet…because you never know how those chicken came about…

I did some research…although it is not an extreme research where I go around looking for scholarly papers…but a general research just to get a general idea of what I am talking about…because I’m really curious as to what I’ve been stuffing my face with.
So…apparantly there are about 196 registered Chicken processing plants IN Canada alone…Even if the other side of the world produces half of the chicken we consume…how do you get the same amount of chickens by the next day??? I mean there are freaking hundred’s of food establishments that serve meat and let’s be honest, we all eat meat and even if you don’t…you must have had it at least once (That goes for you vegetarians *cough* amandeep hehehehe) Those agriculturalist are putting those roosters to hard labour man!
Honestly…
My aunt told me that about 3000 pigs are slaughtered in one day…for meat food proccesing…sick no? ack…it reminds of Lord of the Flies all of a sudden…I think that we’re savages. We are savage people and nothing can hold us back…from eating meat!! Let’s cut down on the meat consumption and let the poor animals mature and develop normally…
Here’s another data that you should really think about…In 2005 the slaughter of chicken were high close to about 89 million KG!!!!! I have no idea how much chicken that is….if you figure it out…tell me. Anyway…since the demand for meat is SOOO High, it dramatically changes how factories select chickens for consumption…that means…instead of mature chicken, they KATAY KATAY (slaughter) younger chickens….hmmmmmmmmmm…yep, that would explain why KFC chickens are so damn malnourished, they’re not given enough time to be fat…geez Meat of the bones people, that’s what we want!! haha ( I am a reformed meat eater…I have converted to vegetables and beans…hahah!!)
Oh and…we’re not really helping ourselves either because, chicken is a good source of protein, so are the eggs that they lay…so if the chickens are malnourished how do you think that affects us??
…I’m not saying KFC is bad,…they’re chicken is damn good, but they’re so greasy…
Anyway, in 2007 the average of chicken consumption is 87lbs per person, 66lbs for beef, and 55 for pork…I didn’t include other meat products…but that’s beside the point.
I’ve shared some facts that I found interesting, I hope you enjoyed…hahah it was fun looking it up, but I think I’m going to try not eating meat for a while..it kind of makes me sick now…I don’t even know how they can make so much chicken in one day…imagine??? Millions of chicken…theres about a billion of us living on earth!! HOW HOW HOW do you feed that many people when WE consume meat on a daily basis…how?! My family eats chicken all the time, and we never seem to run out of chicken…ever….never ever….EVER!
Oh yah. I’ve another thing to spaz about. I love Xiah’s voice its amazing!! It stands out so much, I therefore hail him as my favorite singer of DBSK. I like all of them, but Xiah’s voice seem to jump at you and grap you and you just want to listen to it forever.

I just recently started liking DBSK. I saw them at ep. 9 of EHB and I instantly fell in love with all of them. So I started watching videos of them on youtube. Luckily we were close enough to Pacific Mall yesterday and so I decided to buy a DBSK concert DVD to watch. OMO, I’ve never been so happy in my life to have spend $25.00. So far I’ve watched the concert twice. Once by myself and the second time with my cousin who is an avid fan of KAT-TUN.
I really think I was born in the wrong country. hahaha. I think I should have been born in Japan or Korea because I can relate to them more. It’s so weird.
I took a vow that I would save up enough money to go on a trip to Japan next summer so I’ve decided to give up my luxury of transportation. I would have to take the bus from now on because I simply cannot afford to live paying all these bills. I’m so sick of handing my paycheck to my parents and have no money left to spend of myself. Goodbye my beloved car. It was short, but I really did enjoy my time with you.
I should break down my monthly expenses because it’s getting hard to keep track as to where my money has been going to.
Car insurance : $200/monthy
Phone: $30-$100
Internet: $60
Gas: $80
This does not include the other debts that I must pay…I still have VISA which is currently maxed out at $500+ and a school tuition balance of $620
My life right now is HELL! I really need to save and I can’t do that if I have all this burden on my back. It’s getting harder and harder everyday to get up thinking you only wake up so that you can make money to PAY off all this debts. Where do I find the money to buy other stuff? I don’t know, I beg like my life depended on it. LEt’s see here if I get rid of the car that would save me $200/monthly and if I don’t renew my phone contract it would save me at least $100. If I pay off my tuition in a month I would be free!
haha. I’ve only to worry about my bus tickets which costs $20 weekly…which is relatively the same thing as paying for gas every week. That’s not so bad after all..I just have to get from one place to the other in record time!
That’s what I’ll do….
Anyways DBSK is like the coolest acapella singing group I know. hehehe
Its really good and I love Tegoshi’s voice in this one. It sounds so sweet. LoVE IT!

I’ve been reading news around the net about Jerry Yan signing a contract with Johnny’s Entertainment.
It’s kind of a funny rumour don’t you think? I mean he is kind of old and not at all a TEEN idol anymore. I don’t know really if I should be happy or not should the rumour be true.
Let’s just say, Johnny & Associates SHOULD sign Super Junior because I love them to bits and along with the Hottest guys in Japan, it would so be Heaven to watch. That would also widen their fan base if that so happens neh~
I slept at about 3:00 this morning. I didn’t realize until my mother woke me up that it was already 6:30 in the evening. I slept for about 14 hrs. and I still feel tired!
In about a few hours it will be time to sleep again. hahaha. This is the life. Sleeping for me is a luxury I don’t even care about money if it means I lose sleep.
