Alright, here’s is my detailed analysis of the four groups. Two of which are from the Japanese side and the other two from Korea. All groups have a really large number of fans, most of which are girls both in their home countries and of course nationwide fans are growing as well. I myself are a fan of all four groups. But because I’m a very analytical person I went on ahead to find similarities and differences between each other. Why they are so popular and what makes them so irrisistible to watch.
VOCALS
I will start by talking about Vocals. I’m just going to say that as for the vocal aspects of each group, I lean more towards the Korean side. Why? It’s simple. They sound better. Yep. I’m sorry KAT-TUN and NEWS fan but I’m being truthful here, you’ve heard them right? They don’t necessarily sound bad but they don’t sound too good either. I’ll take DBSK’s songs “Rising Sun” for example. One of the lead vocalist can reach a really high note and it doesn’t sound girly at all. Whereas KAT-TUN’s main vocalists, they tend to sound girl. Although I really like their song “Keep the Faith”. I must say, I really admire the voices of KyuHyun, one of the youngest member of SuJu because its got a nice tone to it. Also he’s got great control over his voice…oh and did I say he doesn’t sound girly? Because let’s face it, I don’t mind if you look girly but let’s not have the voice match the face okay?

DANCING
I’m going to get critical here. No offense to anyone but KAT-TUN and NEWS really need dance lessons. Either from Super Junior or DBSK. These korean guys can dance and I love it because it gets so HOT in the room everytime I watch them dance. But then again, KAT-TUN and NEWS does that for me too, but in a different way. You see, Johnny & Associates boys can dance however they gyrate their hips too much. Its either they do a flimsy version of Shakira’s belly dance or they do some dance with their arms flailing about. (I still love Johnny’s boys though..please don’t get mad T__T) So again, I give this win to DBSK and SuJU.
as for KAT-TUN’s dancing..well
They dance near the end.
The score now is 2-0…haha, uhm sorry there’s no competition here I like them both a lot.

COMIC RELIEF
Alright, here comes the fun part because I feel like all 4 groups are in the same level with each other. I haven’t seen DBSK enough to comment on how funny they are, but from I’ve seen of them I think they can be really funny guys. So I’m gonna go with KAT-TUN and SuJu in this topic.
What I really like the most about these two bands are their humor. The fact that they can take a joke from each other and not go crazy about it afterwards. I’ve been watching Exploring the Human Body ft. Super Junior and I’ve got to say that they entertain me plenty. I’ve never been bored a single minute watching their show because they never come up short with the humor. The advantage of having 13 members in the group is that you also have 13 funny guys! As for KAT-TUN I like them because they bring it. What I mean by that is, they just make light of every situation. Their show Cartoon KAT-TUN is also plenty entertaining because they really do a variety of stuff. Oh and they’re just fun to look at.
I would say that the funniest character of all KAT-TUN is Koki and then Nakamaru and then everyone else is on the same level with Taguchi coming in close 3rd after Nakamaru.
As for Super Junior I’d say Heechul is the funniest amongst the member. He can single handedly make me laugh at any time. I especially like it when he does his impersonations…he looks good as a girl.

X FACTOR
Oh here comes the best best part. We all know why they are so famous. It’s because of their boyish good looks (and femininity) They’ve all got that X-factor. All of them looks good, and all of them dress nice. I’ve got to say though out of all 4 groups I think Choi Siwon have the best body, hands down. If you would look at episode 2 of Exploring the Human body you would understand what I mean. So basically they all take the win for this one.
I wasn’t making a point here. I just wanted to say that even though Japanese singing is not as great as that of the Korean group I still love them regardless of what I think….haha.

EDIT: I take it back. I take back the part where KAT-TUN cannot dance because they can and they only dance what the choreographer tell them to dance…ahahah. OMG Akanishi Jin is so HOT! URAHHHHH!!!
